About me
My name is Romualdas, and I'm an ordinary man who enjoys photography and loves the outdoors. For most of my professional life, I was part of the property development industry. But I have always sensed that photography is my passion and acknowledged that one day I would get my hands on a digital camera.
In 2020 I purchased my first DSLR camera and began my journey in the image creation world. During the first few months of practising, I realised that the combination of travelling and photography should become an essential part of my life. Nowadays, I take my camera on all my trips, even for short walks in the local Epping Forest in Essex.
Why nature photography?
I can describe myself as a nature photographer. I love any type of photography, but my biggest passion is photographing landscapes and wildlife. Periodically I plan my trips where I have a specific image in my head. However, my most adventurous trips begin in locations where I have only fundamental knowledge about a site. I love making the most of the area I go to, and ready to take whatever Mother Nature throws at me. Long day walks make me physically drained, but time and time again, I do the same thing - I pack my gear and head to explore beautiful terrains. I enjoy every stroll, and sometimes I get fortunate and encounter breathtaking natural world scenes. Capturing those magical sceneries with the camera makes unforgettable moments even more special.
Final thought
Only time will tell what the future holds. But for now, I feel immensely fortunate to witness and photograph the places that could only be defined to me as supernatural and wonderful existence.
